Heinrich Bullinger \u00fcbernahm nach dem fr\u00fchen Tod Zwinglis (Oktober 1531) als junger Mann das Steuer der Z\u00fcrcher Kirche und machte Z\u00fcrich zu einem bedeutenden Zentrum im protestantischen Europa.<\/p>\n

Er hinterliess einen Briefwechsel, an dem sich mehr als 1\u2018100 Personen beteiligt haben.\u00a0Dieser besteht aus 10’000 an ihn gerichteten und 2’000 von ihm selbst geschriebenen Briefen. Seine Korrespondenz ist damit eine der umfangreichsten des 16. Die Heinrich Bullinger-Stiftung hat zum Ziel, die kulturhistorisch bedeutende Korrespondenz des Z\u00fcrcher Reformators Heinrich Bullinger der \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich zu machen und neue historische und sprachwissenschaftliche Forschungen zu erm\u00f6glichen. Dazu muss die etwa 12’000 Briefe umfassende Korrespondenz entziffert, \u00fcbersetzt, inhaltlich erl\u00e4utert und in ihren kulturhistorischen Kontext gestellt werden.<\/p>\n

Nachdem 3’120 Briefe ver\u00f6ffentlicht worden sind, ist seit Anfang 2021 die Finanzierung der Briefausgabe nicht mehr gesichert.<\/p>\n
