Congregational identity and ministry with young people (Or: New Ecclesiology and the Practice of Ministry With Young People)

My research centers on ecclesial identity in Christian congregations, and how practices of renewal with young people impact the shape of community both inside and outside of the congregational body of believers. This project will focus on practices of innovation and renewal in diverse congregations across the USA, assessing their impact on the ecclesial identity of the local congregation, and examining their influence on the missional ministry of the local congregation as it pertains to its surrounding community.
